The EVENT is to be held on _______________________________________, between the hours of 11:00am – 11:30pm .

Time allotted is for set up, event and clean up. Within this rental time the ceremony/reception shall not exceed 7 hours.  Rehearsal time prior to event is included in fee. Please set up a scheduled time.

This USAGE agreement is between Burge Plantation Club Inc. and the USER, _________________________________.

For the USAGE PERIOD, the following Burge Plantation Club Inc. FACILITIES will be available for the user.  _________________________________________________________________

The USER agrees to use Burge Plantation Club Inc. according to the description stated above and not for any illegal purpose that will create a public nuisance at Burge Plantation Club Inc. or in the neighborhood.

The number of persons attending the event will be approximately _______. The USER will provide a final number of guests no later than 7 days prior to the event. At this point no money will be refunded for a lesser number of persons attending.

Payments may be made with cash, check or money order.  Visa/Mastercard are accepted with a 3% processing fee.

A deposit of $1000 is paid herewith to reserve the BURGE PLANTATION CLUB INC. FACILITIES for the USAGE PERIOD. This deposit is nonrefundable.

A second payment is due three months prior to event.

The remaining balance of the TOTAL FEE is due no less than 7 days prior to the commencement of the event.

A security deposit of $500 against damage is due 15 days prior to the event. This deposit is refunded if facilities and grounds are left in satisfactory condition.

If USER cancels this contract for any reason other than force majeure, or if USER fails to make payments within 5 days of due dates, or if USER fails to pay the total fee in full before commencement of the event, this agreement will cease to exist and USER will forfeit payments of the FEE made. If inclement weather forces cancellation, a mutually agreed upon settlement may be negotiated with an agent of Burge Plantation Club Inc

Following are provisions and requirements for the use of Burge Plantation Club Inc., it’s buildings and grounds.

- Any admission fees or donations requested by the USER of the guests must be approved by an agent of Burge Plantation Club Inc.

- Excessively loud music as interpreted by Burge Plantation Club Inc. management is not permitted. Outside band and speakers must be directed away from the neighboring houses, in a northerly direction and outside bands must be housed in or near the pavilion and not in the front yard of the Main House. Music must cease playing at 11.00 PM.

- All functions are to end at the contractually agreed upon time or the USER pays $250.00 per hour for time over the above contract time.

- Burge Plantation Club Inc. management reserves the right to close all bars and terminate the EVENT should it be deemed necessary to protect the facility and safety of individuals. USER agrees to obey all Georgia S tate Laws regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages. BPC reserves the right to card individuals and to also stop serving individuals that are overly intoxicated.  Alcohol Service not to exceed 6 hours.

*Client must provide alcohol. Alcohol is not allowed without a Burge bartender serving. If alcohol is on property and a bartender is not serving you will forfeit your security deposit.
*Any materials used to decorate the aisles or thrown upon the wedding party must be biodegradable such as birdseed or real flower petals.
*Table linens must be protected from candle wax or other decorations that may damage the linen. If linens are damaged security deposit will be used to cover amount of damage.
*For Health and Safety reasons leftover food cannot be taken home.
*NO PARKING OR DRIVING ON LAWNS or BLOCKING DRIVEWAY!!! ALL VEHICLES MUST PARK IN THE PARKING FIELD.

- The USER agrees to use reasonable care to prevent damage to Burge Plantation Club Inc. facilities and grounds and to remove any and all materials related to the EVENT on the day of the event. The USER agrees not to remove or significantly reposition Burge Plantation Club Inc. furnishings without the express permission of Burge Plantation Club Inc. management.

- Client accepts full responsibility for damages beyond wear and tear to Burge Plantation Club Inc. property by guests or hired vendors regardless of extent of said damage.


THE USER HEREBY AGREES TO HOLD BURGE PLANTATION CLUB, BURGE PLANTATION INC, AND ANY OWNERS DIRECTORS OR MANAGEMENT THEREOF HARMLESS OF ANY AND ALL LIABILITY AND LOSS WHICH THE USER, THEIR GUESTS, OR VENDORS MAY SUFFER OR INCUR BY REASON OF INJURY OR DEATH OF ANY PERSON OR DAMAGE TO ANY OF THE USER’S PROPERTY OR VENDORS PROPERTY, CAUSED BY THE USER’S GUESTS OR VENDORS EMPLOYEES.

DUE TO OUR EVENT SCHEDULE WE REQUIRE THAT YOU ALWAYS SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE COMING OUT TO BURGE. EVEN IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO MEET WITH A STAFF MEMBER.

Burge is a private hunting/shooting club.  You may experience some gun fire from our shooting range.  This is not usually an issue we just like for you to be aware before booking and scheduling your ceremony time.  All shooting ends at 6pm .
